Second or third new design job that we have had done by Augusta in the last year, and Mike and the guys get 5-stars because of working and listening to get it right. It was a less-than-straightforward idea and plan that we started with mainly along one narrow and unusable side of our yard, so we were kind of winging it. After the first day it just wasn't doing the trick...so LIz and Tara conveyed our messages about it right away, Mike came out quickly to look again, listened to our concerns, and offered a couple of ideas - and the next day, Josh and Riley (who had both been here the first time, so they could understand how to improve it) returned with a mixture of materials and the refreshed ideas and pulled it all together in about a half day - and now it looks and functions great, neighbors have already complimented the appearance. Thanks, fellas, we are pleased!

Josh and his team from Augusta spent about a month at our place in Semiahmoo during the hottest run of the summer - plus, they had to deal with all that smoke in the air from the fires. They did an incredible job with an incredibly daunting project. We purchased the home over a year ago and we really needed help with giving the yard a major "facelift". When Mike came over to do the bid, he gave us some great ideas, but also listened carefully to our wants, needs, and budget requests. Together, we came up with a two phased plan. The team arrived each morning bright and early and got right to work. As the project progressed into phase two, I almost daily had a new request or idea. Josh was great. Somehow, he made it all happen - really amazing. Thanks to the professionalism and commitment of Josh, his team, the office staff, and Mike, we have grounds that we love and can enjoy with friends and family for years to come. We now have an outdoor space that offers not only beauty and peace, but function. Neighbors have been stopping by with many compliments - they love the transformation of this property. Thank you Augusta for such a happy ending!

This company is amazing, from the first time I met Liz in the office to the end of the project! They are extremely professional and really listened to the ideas we had. They arrived on time and worked very hard the whole time they were at our home. Mike gave us the quote and ordered all the materials and came the first day and introduced the team to us. Everyone was very polite, tidy, and worked very hard. They wear Augusta themed clothing and name tags! Very professional; I cannot say enough great things about this company. We will definitely use them for all our future projects.

The two young gentlemen who came out yesterday to deliver/spread the compost in our flower beds did an exceptional job and it looks terrific! They were mindful of the in-ground sprinkler system, making sure that each sprinkler head was not covered up, and did a fantastic job of clean up (even with the rain making it more messy that otherwise). This is the second time we have used their services and have been extremely happy with the results both times.

Augusta Lawn Care installed sod and rock in a portion of my yard that was a disaster. I had hired a number of other companies, who left the area incomplete, at best. Mike first dropped by to introduce himself and to take a look at the area. He listened closely to my ideas and took time to measure and assess the area prior to leaving. His office staff called the next day, to schedule the work. His office staff is absolutely delightful and professional! Mike returned, with his installation crew, on the scheduled day. He introduced me the crew and let me know exactly what they planned to do and how long it would take. The crew was so professional and each person was knowledgeable and amicable. They did such a wonderful job – went above and beyond my expectations! I wish that I knew the names of the 3 men who did the work. Each of them should be recognized. I would recommend Augusta to anyone, anytime, anywhere. This is a first-rate company.

From the beginning everything went well. Everything from Mike working out what needed to be done and the estimate, to Liz working out the schedule (which tuned out to be a challenge as we needed a week without rain before the leveling of the yard could be done), to Fenton doing the hardscape work, everything went as planned. Great local company and plan to use again in the future.

I would happily recommend Augusta to anyone! Their entire team, including the office manager and estimator, is a pleasure to work with. The stone steps are beautiful- I wanted natural looking steps to blend into our little forest environment, and I love the artistic design our project manager created. Everything was completed quickly by the hard working crew, and they did not hesitate to resolve any issues that arose.

Augusta crews were all that you would hope for and more in doing our two-phase and unique job - clearing, grading, filling an overgrown garden/shrub area in a bit of a narrow side yard, and then more grading, smoothing, two layers of rock and timbers for a full-sized bocce court! The guys were all pleasant, timely, respectful workers who treated the job and how their work might affect neighbors (noise, dust, gravel,tight property lines, etc) very professionally. The project manager checked in multiple times each day and handled some of the tougher details himself, and all of the guys were communicative about whatever task they were on, and asked questions if they had any rather than just trudge ahead guessing. They were generous with time if the day's checklist wasn't finished (especially the very first day), doing little extras if asked (can you yank that root ball and move those big rocks? kind-of-things), running to get unplanned materials (extra soil, some hardware, etc) without bumping up the costs. Liz at the office is communicative and efficient, and works late in the evening and early in the morning if there are things needed.

They ain't exactly cheap (though I admit that our job was not a common one, so who can really judge?), but when you get the right work done, and they go the extra steps if needed, then you can't expect to pay bargain basement prices. A neighbor who is very detailed with her landscaping initially recommended them, and her job was tough work that came out great, as well.

We highly recommend and would/will use them again.

I always appreciated the communication I had with Mike and the greenskeepers at Augusta. Mike is a young man that is very friendly and well-mannered. They were cheaper than the other lawn estimates I received and have really exceeded all my expectations. I have a vacation home, and it is so nice to know they are keeping an eye on things while I am away. On more than one occasion they have noticed an issue with the house/property and contacted me directly. Mike gives his personal cell number to all his clients and tells them to call him anytime. If you want a hometown feel with professional service and results... I would suggest Augusta Lawn Care Services.

On my second weekly lawn service the crew forgot to close my side fence gate. My cat got out of the backyard. I wasn't happy and called the office. He was very apologetic and sincere and said that the previous cut would be free and he would personally make sure that the gate was always closed (Thats customer service!). Since then, they've never forgot to close the gate and my lawn has never looked so well-kept. 5 stars!

After several years of inadequate landscaping service providers in the Lynden area, we hired Augusta Lawn Care for our residential maintenance in 2013. Since that time, we have had nothing but the BEST in our landscaping care!! Owner, Michael Andes and his crew do outstanding work, and are readily available for any questions or needs you may have.

From our experience, no comparison can be made between Augusta Lawn Care and the other landscape contractors in the area. They rank head-and-shoulders above the rest!!

Mike and his crew did a landscaping/tree service job for me earlier this year. Mike is very knowledgeable and is good at working within a specific budget.

I am very picky but Mike and his helpers made sure I was 100% satisfied before they left. They go the extra mile and even cut down my neighbors tree limbs that had big caterpillar nests. These kinds of young people and businesses are hard to come by these days - hard working, honest, and customer-focussed...

It really does feel like I have a "personal greenskeeper" of my own=)

I recently bought two triplexes in Bellingham, WA, and worked with Mike at Augusta on a number of landscaping improvements to the complex. These items included tree and debris removal, as well as installation of weed fabric, soil and shrubbery. Mike had come recommended by my property manager.

Mike and his team did a wonderful job. They completed the work on time and at agreed-upon (reasonable) price. After the job, Mike came out and patiently explained the work that was done, as well as recommendations for how to keep the property looking nice. The tenants uniformly expressed how much they liked what was done. He also agreed to do a couple of additional items, at no additional cost.

Mike was responsible, thorough, transparent, and reasonable. And, he consistently had a smile. I'd recommend him highly.

What really sets Augusta apart from the competition is their communication. Most of my emails are replied to within minutes and even when I am not 100% satisfied they are prompt in making things right.
